Versiones de estudio de temas que podían haber entrado en un posible album de Ritual. La calidad del audio es bastante mala. En cuanto a los temas en si hay un poco de todo, desde cortes al mas puro punk hasta temas que ya recuerdan a los futuros Death Cult/5(1).

 · Ritual – Songs For A Dead King (cassette only album). Songs for a Dead King is a disappointing cassette from an otherwise first rate band. Its failure is due to the unvaried collection of self-limiting music. There is very little energy or atmosphere ted Reading Time: 7 mins.

Prior to the 7″, Ritual released a six track demo tape. They also recorded tracks for an LP called “Songs For A Dead King” but was never released. This LP was released on tape however. The band fell apart as drummer Ray Mondo and guitar player Jamie Stewart were asked to join Death Cult.

  2. Curiously, Ritual seem to have unleashed Songs for a Dead King on an unsuspecting world twice. The first time was in , which they then followed up with the “Mind Disease” 7” (Red Flame, ) and the “Kangaroo Court” 12” (Red Flame, ) before Songs for A Dead King makes a reappearance in It’s not clear to me if the two versions are the same album in different Estimated Reading Time: 6 mins.
